What was the plaque she received?

[edit]

As mentioned in Wikinews Jessica received a plaque at the welcome home ceremony. Does anyone know what it said/was for? Mark Hurd (talk) 08:14, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Greatest individual paddler of all time?

[edit]

Questionable. She's undoubtedly one of the best slalom paddlers, but to call her the greatest of all time is reaching. She has an impressive record at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, but one would argue that the Olympics is the pinaccle of sport, and she has just 4 medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze). If comparing to another star Olympian paddler, for example, Dame Lisa Carrington. Dame Lisa has 6 medals (5 gold, 1 bronze). 125.168.43.28 (talk) 03:26, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
