I inferred her YOB from the time gap between the two Tumelty articles, where the December 2009 article gave her age as 29, and the June 2010 gave her age as 30.
Also, the previous versions had text blatantly stolen from Cottis' website, and was much, much, much too PR-like in tone, in addition to being an irrelevant laundry list of performances or scheduled performances. This is meaningless, since all conductors have such repertory lists. The purpose of wikipedia is to present just the facts and not be a publicity device for any person or group. To make the article internally consistent, per GOA's last edit, all the information now reads with her YOB as 1979, including categorisation. If this needs to be corrected, all internal information related to that needs to be corrected. Cheers, DJRafe (talk) 21:31, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There is now a new concern regarding Cottis' YOB, because the SSO press release describes Cottis as a "35-year old" conductor, which is obviously not compatible with her DOB of 13 December 1979, as of this writing (20 September 2012). If she is 35, and her birthdate is 13 December, her YOB would have to be 1976. Can someone clarify the exact DOB & YOB questions once and for all? Thanks, DJRafe (talk) 23:43, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
