Roosevelt Music
[edit]The text below was added to the article at 20:01, 5 February 2009 by User:70.184.36.55:-
As Hal Fein's daughter, I can tell you without reservation that Jesse Stone had nothing to do with the formation of Roosevelt Music. The company was started by my father and no one else. The company was named for the Roosevelt Hotel where my father met my mother when she was a singer at the hotel. Charlie Singleton and Jesse Stone were "stable" song writers for my father. They did however, participate in the first ever "demo" records that were recorded in the small studio at 1650 Broadway
Until this is resolved I've added a tag to the relevant statement in the article. Ghmyrtle (talk) 21:02, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- For information, the original references which I probably used in writing the article included this and this, which both (independently) refer to his role at Roosevelt Music. Ghmyrtle (talk) 21:12, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

– Pageviews strongly prefer Jesse Stone (character).[1] WP:NOPRIMARY. 162 etc. (talk) 20:33, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. In addition to this page's current WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, there are 12 bulleted entries listed upon the Jesse Stone (disambiguation) page, with no indication that renown of the musician/songwriter has remained at a level sufficient to overwhelm the combined notability of those 12 entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 01:49, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support - while this Jesse does appear to be the most long term, notable, of the real people; the fictional character, Jesse Stone (character) is far and away not only more popular, it has seemingly been so for over a decade. I would support either the move as proposed or even making the character primary, with a hatnote to the DAB page. TiggerJay (talk) 06:16, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
