Yes, as I mentioned, the pageviews are definitely very recent, but they are so tremendously overwhelming, that even if they drop by 95% tomorrow, the TV personality will still be primary usage for the foreseeable future, and almost everyone who will wind up on the dab page will want his article instead. That makes sense in the short term, but may not long term which is where the dab page will takes precedent. I don't know the guidelines well enough to tell if "short term primaries" are encouraged to be made primary or if the dab page is the norm. I have reverted all mentions of his death (that were added beginning in 2016) as no source has been provided nor could I find one, per WP:BLPREMOVE.
