Bio details
[edit]I didn't add the BLP template {{BLP sources section}} (much like above BLP template) to the just-renamed "Early life and academic career" section. The section has no footnotes but it also has nothing overly contentious, despite the analytical rather than factual character of the last line.
I've traced the source of the whole section, word for word copied it could be, to one Jens Weidmann by Wade Anastasia Jere (International Book Marketing Service Limited, Oct 17, 2011 - 76 pages) via Google Books. The excerpt from which the section-wording is drawn starts "Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online". So we have a potentially circular sourcing. I thus of course could not use the "book" excerpt as a footnote for the section.
Besides the BLP template for the section, I thought of a [citation needed] at the end of the whole section. The reason I didn't do anything other than note this prospective post in my last Edit summary was that the facts in the section (ex. the analytical line) roughly match the details given in the Bundesbank Curriculum Vitae, a link to which I also just added in External links.
I also thought of a "Christmas tree" tagging of each fact in the section, footnoting those in the CV to it, "Citation needed"s then on every other bit. Not so pretty. Or the section could just be stripped down to CV-backed info.
So we have a pending need here. Any thoughts or leads appreciated. Cheers. Swliv (talk) 18:15, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
P.s. A couple of other items of follow-on interest:
- There are six results to this Wiki search for "International Book Marketing Service", all in footnotes.
- Only one other "Wade Anastasia Jere", a relief really.
I may cross link to some Wiki citations' bulletin board for help/warning. Anyone else's actions on any of this welcome because this also could be the end of the line for me on the issues raised. Notation of actions appreciated, for ease of tracking/learning. Thnks. Swliv
