Skil Corp.?
[edit]Wik's article on this company states (without citation of source) that it was founded by a Mr. Michel and a Joseph L. Sullivan. Who, then, was Mrs. Sanford's grandfather: Bolton Sanford, or Joseph L.? Firstorm (talk) 16:11, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- you are right. Should simply refer to the Sullivan family relationship to Sskil until cleared up -- if ever.Mr48 (talk) 01:58, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Her official biography contains several errors including the claim that hit was her grandfather when multiple news articles from the 1920s and skil's own history show it was her great grandfather Joseph W. Sullivan who cofounded skil with an unrelated man (michel). See: http://www.asktooltalk.com/articles/toolhistory/divide.php 72.75.14.224 (talk) 16:12, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
First Lady?
[edit]As of June 8, 2010, Ms. Sanford is still listed as the First Lady on the state's official website. See: http://www.scgovernor.com/about/jenny/
Unless someone can present a better source, this page should be edited to show Ms. Sanford as the incumbent First Lady. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.3.246.78 (talk) 00:44, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Seperation
[edit]Jenny Sanford has made it clear in yesterday's AP interview that she and the governor have been separated for two weeks. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=7944070 "The Sanfords had separated about two weeks ago. She said her husband told the family he wanted some time away to work on writing a book and clear his head. The first lady said, "I had every hope he was not going to see her.""72.75.14.224 (talk) 16:05, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- I have updated the article to reflect that they were separated for the two-week period prior to his disclosure. --TommyBoy (talk) 05:40, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
