[edit]Needs a "Controversy Section" to deal with her reporting on the Arizona shooting, where she pushed forward documents she claimed were from the DHS that were full of errors and blatent mischaracterizations. Her journalism was so sloppy that it drew lound public condemnation including this article;

She has (ever since Ed Henry was suspended for his sexual affair) been covering Hillary Clinton's campaign.
[edit]While she still does work on national security, it's nowhere near on the level she used to, her major role (at the present time) is Hillary's presidential run for FOX News, this should be reflected in the article. I find her a breath of fresh air compared to that smirky Ed Henry as well (who has since been reinstated but Griffin has kept her role on Hillary's press core). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.160.158.150 (talk) 23:39, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

As per multiple reliable sources, which is what we rely on here:
Jennifer Griffin confirmed...Other outlets confirmed
Trump calls on Fox News to fire reporter who confirmed some parts of Atlantic story
Other beat reporters had confirmed aspects of the Atlantic story, too
Fox News Reporter Doubles Down on Confirmation
Jennifer Griffin, a national security correspondent for Fox News, confirmed
Jennifer Griffin, who reported on Friday that she was able to confirm

Do you find it the least bit hypocritical to ask me to stop edit warring, when you have made 4 reverts to this very phrasing in 25+ hours?read this Journalism’s New Propaganda Tool: Using “Confirmed” to Mean Its Opposite Trying to reconnect (talk) 23:59, 7 September 2020 (UTC)- What Greenwald says here is irrelevant. Multiple reliable sources say she confirmed, not repeated. This has been abundantly clear from the start. soibangla (talk) 00:04, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
It not irrelevant, because as editors, we are not obligated to use the exact words used by sources. We have discretion to phrase it differently, where appropriate, as in this case per the well-articulated arguments by Greenwald. Trying to reconnect (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:08, 8 September 2020 (UTC)- "Repeated" means she just went on the air and parroted what others reported. That's not what she did. She contacted her own sources and confirmed. That's what credible journalists do. And editors don't

in ways that contradict or distort what multiple reliable sources say. soibangla (talk) 00:15, 8 September 2020 (UTC)We don't know who she contacted, and we don't know who The Atlantic talked to, so we have no way of knowing if she contacted her own sources and confirmed. The most we can write is that hat she said she confirmed it, but not state as fact that she did in Wikipedia's voice. Trying to reconnect (talk) 00:38, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
