Good job
[edit]Good job on the quick posting of the news. SeeLive on Wikipedia: Jennifer Dunn dies -- Jreferee (Talk) 05:02, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Footnote
[edit]There was there this bothersome footnote needed message on the end of the claim that Congresswoman Dunn was the first woman to run for Majority Leader. I knew this to be true. I found a reference to just that claim in the Seattle Times on the event of her sudden and unexpected death.
The link is this http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/jennifer-dunn-former-congresswoman-dies/ Well for a first-timer not bad but still not good enough. We got our footnote now but down where you read the footnotes is the hyperlink appears when it should not, just the text should. I don't know how to fix this. Could someone explain what I did wrong? Thanks in advance. --24.177.0.156 (talk) 20:39, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

Jennifer Dunn (politician) → Jennifer Dunn – The current page Jennifer Dunn is a disambig page for the former member of Congress and the musician who is the member of Mindless Self Indulgence. The article for the musician was merged into the article for the band several years ago. I do not see any additional articles for other people named Jennifer, Jenny, or Jennie Dunn. So, the politician from Washington State should be the primary Jennifer Dunn, and should not have the parenthetical disambiguator. We can still have a hatnote at the top pointing to the band. Let's discuss as needed. KConWiki (talk) 13:44, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

- Support per nom. Only one article. Station1 (talk) 01:06, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination, Ortizesp and Station1. This article was created as "Jennifer Dunn" in December 2003 and remained under that main title header for over over ten years, until it was unilaterally moved in February 2014 to "Jennifer Dunn (politician)" by a user who has been blocked since October of the same year. Immediately after making the move, the user converted the redirect to the politician into the Jennifer Dunn disambiguation page with two entries, the other one being the piped entry for Kitty (drummer)|Jennifer Dunn (musician). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 05:43, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
P.S. The musician is not even mentioned in Mindless Self Indulgence so it seemed pointless to add a hatnote. No such user (talk) 09:55, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
