Television/Web Credits

[edit]

I have personally watched each episode, excluding "Can You Tell?" and "All My Children", and saw/heard Colella on the shows. I don't have any other references to add to the article for that section. Old Beeg ..warble·· 21:00, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life Section

[edit]

I am aware that this section has a history of problematic entries. I kept to information that had references, and tried to maintain an encyclopedic-like entry tone. Old Beeg ..warble·· 19:41, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Career:Theatre Section; Observations on reworking page.

[edit]

This section will take longer to rework/construct, as there is a good deal to cover. About half of this section was taken from one source, with additional phrases and references added. Hopefully, when finished, it will not primarily reflect any one source.

Doing an expansion of a page in sections, so as to have the reworked parts online sooner, works well for those areas. This also allows anyone watching the page to follow what is being done. But the unworked then look overlooked/incomplete. Having reworked one in sandbox then transferring, and now this one online in parts, I think this way is better. However, next time starting with the largest section first would work better overall for the page, instead of leaving it for last. The one drawback to that is the organization of references would not be as accessible. Old Beeg ..warble·· 11:07, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Now that much of the New York theater has been added, this section will most likely need to have a few subsections in order to make it easier to follow. Old Beeg ..warble·· 21:34, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It appears one other subsection, "Process", needs to be added at the bottom. Old Beeg ..warble·· 21:32, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In working on "Process," a wikiquote page is also emerging. Old Beeg ..warble·· 15:16, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Through this process, shows not listed in the article have been discovered, but without being able to find appropriate references to use. These include: Ring of Fire (June Carter Cash) in Nashville and Hair (Sheila) in SC. Old Beeg ..warble·· 16:28, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Come From Away, Theatre table entry

[edit]

The blocks between 2015 and 2016 for 'Production' and 'Role' have not been combined in the 'Theatre' table as there is an eight month time gap represented. This is to make an entry for early/mid 2016 easier, if one is uncovered. Old Beeg ..warble·· 15:11, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fan outlook, intricate detail banners; trivial info

[edit]

@Teblick:@JDDJS:

Became aware of Collela after watching filmed version of musical Come From Away. Looked at her page here and saw it needed additions/revisions. My mindset is from an engineering background, which means look for, inspect, and mention everything. Here, all things that have come before inform her. What ended up on the page was what I thought indicated her background, training, and those activities that show who she is as a person. That is how I see a bio--who they are. That is of interest to many.

Any editor here, either creating new or editing existing, is a 'writer' that can use editing from others. But I do think the fan banner unreasonable, and if there is what is considered too much detail, understand it came from a desire for completeness. A page can be over re-edited to show a dry, flat two dimensional person. Information I added had references, sometimes multiple, showing the actual person,

The pages here may be two dimensional, but the people they represent are three dimensional, real individuals.

Article assessment

[edit]

Greetings, At the Credits section, I added the Refimprove tag as more citations are needed. Also, I added one "cn" tag, and an Editor comment at the October 2, 2022 statement, to convert the inline External link to a reference. A spot-check of references shows many to be a one-time or passing mention vs. indepth biography coverage. I understand many of these citations are a "fact-check documentation" of the person's career accomplishments. Overall the article is well written, could be better with a more encyclopedia-like tone. The Rater tool ORES prediction gives the article 36-percent as Class-B, however for the reasons stated above, Class-C should be sufficient for now. As a Wikipedia editor who has updated thousands of articles, this one can be a FA at some point in the future. Regards, JoeNMLC (talk) 14:58, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
