Olympics 2012

[edit]

I put the following into the comment page of Allyson Felix :

It seems to me that what happened with the trials for the 2012 Olympics has not been represented properly. The website which is referenced as [16] contains the following :

"Layden’s report from Sunday night said Tarmoh was leaning toward not racing against Felix, though she felt in her “heart of hearts” that she had earned the third and final spot on the women’s Olympic 100 team and felt “kind of robbed.”"

TV station Eurosport reported (2012/08/06 19:25 GMT) that Tarmoh was put under serious pressure to step back.

It may not be provable, but if this encyclopedia wants to remain objective it should not leave out the fact that there's a controverse about the possibility that Tarmoh was stopped from taking her rightfull place in order to maximize the chances of the USA to win olympic medals. 84.186.138.20 (talk) 18:43, 6 August 2012 (UTC)JB.[reply]
