Talk:Jekyll Island Club
I just spent the past couple days fleshing out this article, and I moved a great deal of its content from the main Jekyll Island article. It now appears to be brief and exhaustive, so I went ahead and removed the 'expand' flag that was placed on it March 2007. torq (talk) 20:29, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Your list of members ought to include the following, whose "cottages" are still standing: Goodyear (financier, not the tire maker)(Goodyear Cottage), and Jay Gould (Villa Ospo, Villa Marianna, Gould Casino).
Also, how about a section on the cottages themselves? Could launch a "preservation/ restoration" section of your article.
Good work.

pump house
[edit]Actually the pump house is more south of the Morgan Center and east of the Goodyear house. If you look on Google Maps, etc, there is a wide road going into the SW corner of the parking lot behind the Morgan Center. Just before you get into the parking lot, there is a one-lane light-colored road to the south. If you do street view from that point and look south, you can see the pump house.
