If you go through the history this seems like it was created, WP:BLP1E, and then added some filler to disguise the fact. I've seen a lot these where Wikipedia is abused in this fashion.--LedgerTom (talk) 21:52, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As one of the editors who has apparently "added some filler" to the article, I beg to differ. It was significantly expanded once he died, as obits are great sources for biographies. Otherwise, he was an remains quite notable for the crimes, which is why he received so much press, more so than what BLP1E discourages, even if that still applied. I see your point but I was more referring to the initial entry, which used the court case alone to reference the entry. So at that point it was BLP1E and since has been filled to maintain the initial entry.--LedgerTom (talk) 17:55, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
