Expansion of article
[edit]This article looks as if it could do with a bit of expansion from its present stub class. I could if necessary provide a summary of Gray's ideas relative to neuroscience. This invites any comment on whether this is appropriate, or whether someone else feels like expanding the article. Persephone19 (talk) 22:32, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- A boiler plate appeared at top of this article, but no reason was given. I have made some slight alterations to the first part in the hope that this deals with any problem. If anyone is still unhappy, perhaps they could explain the problem here, and we can try and resove it. Persephone19 (talk) 16:43, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Although I have no doubt you have written an accurate, careful description of Gray's contributions to the theory of consciousness, there are at least four improvements I think are needed:
- Provide citations showing that Gray's theory is notable.
- Provide in-line citations for the key elements of the theory.
- Resolve the discrepancy between Gray's advocacy of intentionality as a key part of his theory with the later statement: "Gray took the view that in investigating consciousness, discussions about intentionality and representation should be discarded".
- Reduce the number of words to about 25%.
I've gone some way towards this last by altering the headings.Robert P. O'Shea (talk) 04:58, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
