Apparently Collins has some prior political history in New South Wales, having nominated for preselection in Lindsay once upon a time and having the local branch support but getting stomped by the forces of Obeid and co. - it came up on Poll Bludger and is backed up in the papers and Hansard. Not sure if it's worth mentioning here but thought I'd make a note of it just in case. The Drover's Wife (talk) 11:30, 28 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
