Hello. Happy to review this article for GA. You can expect comments over the next day or two. Kind regards, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 18:15, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Lede

[edit]
  • Overall, the first three films in the Jeepers Creepers series have grossed over $125 million at the box office. a comparison to the overall budget of the films would be good for comparison.
Done Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • You say in the infobox that one of the films is German (produced/filmed in Germany), but I don't see this reflected in the lede or the rest of the article for that matter.
Done Added a mention in #Production. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Films

[edit]
  • kills and eats people every twenty-three years for twenty-three days this might need some clarification. Does the 'eating' occur for 23 days, or the killing? For this to have happened (hundreds of dead bodies), the Creeper must have a longer life than humans, so this should be mentioned. Just reading on, this is somewhat clarified in the next paragraph, but it should be clarified earlier.
Done Added the word "ancient". Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • However, the Creeper goes into its hibernation state before it can die why can't they kill the Creeper in its hibernation state? Might need to add a bit more there.
Done Now that I think about it, it is literally never explained why Jack couldn't keep stabbing the Creeper. He just kept it, but it was never explained and I don't want to add something that might not be canon or false. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Production

[edit]
  • which stood out to Salva because Breck attended it with a shaven head. why was this the case?
Done Content has been added to #Production. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • was later theatrically released... there seems to be some unnecessary extra words here. How about just "was released"?
Done Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • on one-night screenings on September 26, and on October 4, but you say in the lede that there was a one-night screening on September 26, 2017. Needs altering for consistency.

General comments

[edit]
  • IMDb is considered unreliable, but I don't know about the use of it specifically relating to cast and crew roles as this is presumably where you got the information from. This might need further discussing, especially as refs 27, 28, and 29 are all IMDb. Also see WP:IMDB
Not done Names of production crews and cast members were retrieved from the films themselves, which serve as a primary source and don't have to be cited per WP:MOSFILM. For box office performances, see WP:FILMBOXOFFICE and WP:FILM/R which explain that though owned by IMDb, Box Office Mojo is a reliable source. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that looks good. Thanks for adding links. Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 14:28, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • You should place any references for the tables with the tables, as was done in the 'Reception' section.
Question: Elaborate? Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You explained in the previous bullet point that this was taken directly from the films, so doesn't need to be referenced. I thought there might be sources that could be added into the table so that the table was referenced. Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 14:28, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rest of the references look fine.
  • You should include any images you can. One in the infobox would help, how about the one in the infobox of Jeepers Creepers (2001 film)? Also, some images of the actors or the major crew members, if they can be found.
Done Can't add the first film poster (non-free) but I did add a DVD cover of the original trilogy. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Some Dude From North Carolina: I'll place this article on hold, to give you time to sort out the issues. Kind regards, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 12:54, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Willbb234: I think I have just finished addressing all your concerns and suggestions. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Some Dude From North Carolina: Thanks for addressing these promptly. Can't promote right now as I need to get somewhere, but should be able to promote in a few hours so please bear with. Kind regards, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 14:30, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
