Many of the sections about specific the specific CJs are rather small. I'm going to expand the ones I can, but I don't know much about the later CJs
The first picture, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/Jeep-CJ.jpg is not a picture of a typical CJ. It has at least been significantly lifted, and has much larger than factory tires. While this type of modification may be more typical to Jeeps than other vehicles, it certainly does not represent a typical CJ. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.159.47 (talk) 00:24, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Not just the first image, but the CJ5 and CJ7 are both examples with several non-stock modifications represented in the images. I know we cannot just pick random photos off of the internet, but I believe there are examples in the public domain that are cleaner and better examples of many of these Jeep types. EarlyCJ5 is a great source of photos of restored CJ5s, one could probably simply ask an author for permission to use one of the photos. Could easily get a new CJ5 and a main article image probably. I'm sure there are other resources for photos of beautifully restored CJ7s. Older photos or promotional material might also be a better source to find better photos. I reference this article often and the non-stock aspects of many of the photos here really take away from the quality of information overall. Chief1983 (talk) 18:48, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
The Jeep is an American made product. Please edit the page using the American language. Not the unreadable third paragraph in the CJ7 section starting with: "The reports of the CJ7 were different in each type of engine". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeeperman (talk • contribs) 20:41, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
