I'm told some jebenas don't have a spout, just the neck. I've not seen a spoutless example, myself. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 23:05, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

- Jebena pots without spouts are found in Eritrea, but in Ethiopia they have spouts. In some parts of south central Ethiopia, they have two spouts. I've added a photo of jebena with spout.Pete unseth (talk) 19:47, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- I believe the ones without spouts are also found in Tigray region, and are common to Tigrinya-speaking areas. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 20:54, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
