@Boleyn: You make a fair point regarding WP:PTM, and I've removed a couple of the entries. I would be happy to bow to your greater experience in judging exactly where the limits should be for inclusion in the list, but I personally needed this page to disambiguate between the city, the port, and the free economic zone. Likewise, the metro station and airport were both simply named "Jebel Ali," though both names have since been changed. Does the list now seem more appropriate to you? -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 17:25, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, the criterion for inclusion of partial title matches states that there must be "no significant risk of confusion or reference" for a partial title match to be excluded. The articles for the metro station and port refer to themselves (in bold) as simply "Jebel Ali". It appears there is a risk of confusion and therefore a prima facie case to retain the DAB. This does not appear to have been addressed by the proposer. As such this page does not seem appropriate to delete without further debate. I have removed the PROD. Please feel free to proceed to a full deletion discussion if desired. MegaSloth (talk) 11:40, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
