Multiple issues
[edit]Multiple issues were tagged: orphan = September 2012, refimprove = July 2012, tone = July 2012. These have been fixed, so may be removed, imho. Arno-nl (talk) 13:21, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
Ketegan or Krembangan?
[edit]The Staatscourant of 1898 mentions the name of the sugar factory, Kremboeng (located in Sidoarjo). Sources relate Krembangan and Ketegan to Moquette. Where did Moquette live? Additional sources to clarify are needed. Arno-nl (talk) 08:55, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
A better lead section?
[edit]I'd like to rewrite the lead for this article to something like the following:
Jean Pierre Moquette (July 5, 1856 – February 26, 1927) lived his life as a Bookkeeper, Researcher, Stamp dealer, and Coin dealer. He contributed to the study of sugar cane, primarily in cane sowing and crossing[1] He also worked in ethnographic and historical research during the 1900s. Due to this, he was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau.[2] and even founded Indonesian Numismatic Cabinet as its curator.
Do let me know if there needs to be any edits needed before adding this in.RiaDir (talk) 09:11, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
