Death
[edit]"He was a severe drillmaster, which made him unpopular among his troops" ... "History records that Martinet was eventually killed by friendly fire while leading an infantry assault at the siege of Duisberg.". The article does not present any conclusions from these two facts, but I get the impression that his death was not entirely an accident. Is there anything in the historical record to support this? -Ashley Pomeroy 12:32, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
