Trying to learn Wiki guidelines as quickly as possibly and understand how to make proper citations. I feel that this band meets criteria for relevence (3 releases on major label; 3 independent releases, plus major press. Trying to understand if CD covers are okay to use for discography. I agree that the band probably meets our inclusion standard (WP:MUSIC) and have removed the deletion request. The gallery of CD covers is not okay here, as we try to minimize use of non-free content. Happy editing, Kusma (talk) 09:18, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks. The band's latest three albums are independent releases and they hold the copyright. With their permission, could any of these CD covers be included, or is that still "non-free"? I have read the sections on the topic and find them difficult to understand and many user posts seem to contradict one another. I am also trying to understand why say, Norah Jones or Macy Gray, can display all of their albums covers in a gallery, and this band cannot. Thanks in advance for help.
