Formatting

I am formatting the page according to the guidlines available on Wikipedia. This is in consensus with the Wikis of other colleges like IITs and foreign colleges. There is no need to discuss Tech Club in so much detail as per common sense, since Tech Club is just a club of college and as of present, it has no great achievement for which it should be given so much importance and credit in wiki page. Remember, this is an Encyclopedia page, and is meant to provide important information to the visitors, and not a place to show that you are important. I have removed the Image Gallery and instead placed images throughout the page as done in most of wikis and since Wiki bots were producing a cleanup-gallery tag automatically on the page. For future references, i've put the image gallery code here.

Page content and club members

There has been a lot of improper content additions to JUIT page in the past. Each year a new managing committee is formed to manage various clubs, and people add members of these committees to this page. Kindly refrain from adding these names to wiki page as this is against the wikipedia usage guidelines. All the necessary names have been provided in the University Infobox already. The infobox must be updated as and when there is any change in the core management of University.

Please help to improve the quality of this article instead of vandalising it by advertising about yourself on this page. Thanks.

Promotion

This page has become a place to advertise and promote yourself. People are regularly putting up irrelevant information in the thereby reducing the page quality. A famous eating joint, with main branch at Kandaghat where you can enjoy a mesmerizing ambiance. Best Place to celebrate. They do not serve alcohol, but you can buy and get it inside. But do check the bill because if you are inebriated then the owner who looks and behaves like Dr. Vijay Mallya tries manipulate the cost. You can have spicy lemon chicken, Masala Chicken. The new branch near the Thank You Gate at college is nowdays facing tough competition from its nearest eating joint the Hill Point. Article class

This article is still start-class on Wikipedia's article quality rating. Considering 9 years of academic history, this is not a very good situation. Some sections are vandalized too often by none other than fellow JUITians. I reckon sections like Events need some guidelines to be followed. Since some events listed in this section (e.g. Le Fiestus) are recurring events, they should not contain event date, rather a rough timeline for event every year. The current nature of these recurring events is more a news post where authors have described what happened during the latest event. This trend should be changed and this section should be updated to more generic version. Please help improve the quality of this article by adding your suggestions in this talk page.
