One of the items says Jayanthi means victory. In what language? That should be provided. Not a dog 17:33, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

JayanthiJayanti – I propose to move this article because of the following reasons :

  • More widely used version (WP: Common name)
  • Phonetically correct version of the word.
  • Many books use Jayanti, see - The Penguin Book of Hindu Names, 1993, p. 173)
  • Most of the topics of the disambiguation page are spelled Jayanti.
