I love Jay Elec, but this wiki page is a joke. Half of the "albums" referenced do not exist and probably never will exist. Everything is "Forthcoming". Anyone who actually thinks that there is going to be an album with Nas and another one with Lupe Fiasco is fooling themselves. Also, it's beyond a stretch to say that "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit C" are from an album entitled Abracadabra. Such an album does not exist and will never exist. What, did Jay Elec mention this once in one interview two years ago or something? I love the man as an artist, but his plans change hourly. At one point this wiki page had a wonderful listing of every single Jay Electronica song in existence. But that got replaced with a short list of non-existent "albums" that are all "Forthcoming". Very unprofessional, delusional, and unhelpful. 63.233.65.101 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:35, 23 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]

As Of Right Now Jay Electronica has been living in NYC for about 4 to 5 years. I'm pretty its the brooklyn area, should we add that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skateremorocker (talkcontribs) 15:01, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to add information regarding Act I: Eternal Sunshine. The "Kurdish" section that features the children talking is an excerpt from the movie Turtles Can Fly. That film hurts.LupeJustinian (talk) 07:01, 20 December 2010 (UTC)LupeJustinian[reply]

Anyone know where the foreign language sample at the beginning of the track "Voodoo Man" is from? 98.244.81.124 (talk) 15:20, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Biography

[edit]

There has been a recent article (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2157046/The-Rothschild-Rap-After-THAT-MoS-revelation-Kate-Rothschild-leaving-Ben-Goldsmith-rapper-called-Jay-Electronica-reveal-clue-break-played-DJs-Britain.html) that seems to contradict and even add to the picture of Jay that is presented on this Wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Streetballer510 (talkcontribs) 08:22, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

From Jay Electronica to J A Y E L E C T R O N I C A

Note: double space between Y and E. WikiPedia doesn't seem to be able to render it though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.253.180.210 (talk) 13:38, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That does not conform to the Manual of Style. Neither can I find any reference to it. Karst (talk) 12:26, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
