Unbelievably, someone listed this article for deletion. This despite be well-written, maintained by two different WikiProjects, and being sourced. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jay A. DeLoach. --BizMgr (talk) 17:02, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

USS Alligator

Other than sources listing the Admiral as a part of the project, I haven't found any mentioning a significant contribution to this operation. Could this section be removed from the article? --BizMgr (talk) 06:20, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Maybe we can dig up some more info. He was involved in the search and some people most likely would like some background info about the Alligator.
