Jatts outclass shudra
[edit]According to Alberuni kitab ul hind the jatts were outcaste shudra mirasis living in the outskirts of lahore during 11th century because they were not allowed to enter the city due to their outcaste status. And also according to him they were mostly animal grazers and had nothing to do with agriculture during that time. Surprisingly all mirasi people who live in afghanistan, middle east are called jatt/zott, and in europe they are called gypsy thieves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.51.200.28 (talk) 10:26, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Vandal insertions by User Chdbhangoo
[edit]Hi user User Chdbhangoo,
Please do not insert your own words into content
where references are provided
to change the meaning intended by the original author of the book
as you have done in this post of yours ,
24 February 2009 Chdbhangoo
where you have inserted the word Bhangu
The original link to the page from the authors book is provided here which clearly shows that you have vandal edited this content
The Muslim community of the Indo-Pakistan subcontinent, 610-1947 By Ishtiaq Husain Qureshi
This amounts to vandal editing
you have also vandal edited referenced texts on other pages as well for example on article Bhangu

Redirected
[edit]I've redirected to Jat people. Where sourced at all, this article was a combination of synthesis and fringe theories intended to puff-up the Jats - a common experience for Jat-related material on Wikipedia but not one that we need perpetuate.
If anyone wishes to reinstate then please could they draft something in their sandbox first and provide translated quotations from all the non-English sources. Please read WP:RS, WP:PRIMARY and WP:FRINGE first, though. - Sitush (talk) 10:34, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
