[edit]I'm just curious if anyone knows his ancestry. He's a great looking guy. Is he part Asian? 203.131.210.84 (talk) 07:00, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
he probably is 99.226.241.84 (talk) 15:44, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
He is not asian ... he's jewish. ElmerBront (talk) 23:10, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
I think that part of the point of wikipedia is to look at a topic from a neutral, all around perspective. I believe it would be appropriate to cite the proven fact that in the first episode of season 13 bachelor one can see a gold pinky ring on the hand of the 'girl he chooses', and that later on we see that it is Melissa who wears a gold pinky ring- ie, it is incredibly likely he chose Melissa in the end. Or is Wikipedia so controlled by external sources that such things are erased from this page? I will be interested to see if my attempt to start real discussion on this is erased immediately as well- if it is I certainly expect an explanation given to me as to why we can't even pursue discussion on this. Coroloro (talk) 05:13, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- So Melissa is his fiance? How do you know? Did ABC tell you? Did Jason release a statement? No? Oh, I see! You came to that conclusion. You decided that, since we see for a split second that the proposee is wearing a pinky ring that it, without a doubt, absolutely must be Melissa? That's called original research and is strictly prohibited from Wikipedia. Is there really no possibility that Molly could wear the ring, or Deanna, or that maybe it is Melissa, but something goes wrong? Of course there is a possibility for each of those things happening, which is exactly why original research is prohibited, not just as a guideline, but as a policy. Until is is released either via the airing of the episode or in an official statement released by a reliable source, it cannot be included. Period. --132 13:36, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- Tonight's episode(s)? Is why we don't allow original research. --132 05:15, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
i agree one cannot conclude who he chose obviously until the finale is aired 99.226.241.84 (talk) 03:45, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
The contents of the March 2 episode should not be revealed until it airs on the West Coast. Crescent22 (talk) 03:42, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- No. Once it airs, that's it. We aren't going to protect the West Coast from spoilers. Once it's aired, it's aired and it's considered a reliable source. Period. That's part of the reason spoiler tags were deleted from Wikipedia. --132 05:15, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Deletion?
[edit]Why is this in wikipedia? 81.62.135.92 (talk) 21:55, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Because the subject of the article is notable. --132 22:04, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- And, if you disagree, you can nominate it for deletion (which could happen). Plastikspork (talk) 22:57, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
I say delete. Until he does something to make a significant impact on society he does not belong here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.120.32.152 (talk) 03:59, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- A "significant impact on society" is subjective and it is not a requirement for notability. If the person passes WP:BIO, the article can stay. --132 14:47, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
