Age

[edit]

On Richard & Judy on 31 July 2008, he stated that his age is 25; that contradicts the year of his birth stated on here, 1981. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Werdnawerdna (talkcontribs) 17:06, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His official site says 26th may 1981 http://jmanford.co.uk/about 137.205.28.59 (talk) 01:51, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
He's also just said on his Twitter (http://twitter.com/Jason_Manford) that today is his 28th birthday, so yeah, May 26th 1981 is right. 81.102.126.81 (talk) 00:11, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sources disagree on his date of birth, some say he was born in May 1981, at least one says he was born the month after that. His birth was registered in 1986; births legally have to be registered within 6 weeks of occurrence. Jim Michael (talk) 01:12, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The City Life Comedian of the Year article says he won it in 1999, I doubt he would have won it at the age of 13. But I might be wrong. Swaddon1903 (talk) 20:52, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong or broken ref

[edit]

The second ref (#25 as of now), "Jason Manford talks about how the sexd message claims affected him Time Out Magazine, 23 November 2010", does not link to that article nor can I find it. Please fix or remove. --84.63.174.225 (talk) 02:44, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The link worked for me just now, may have been a temporary problem. January (talk) 10:03, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've clicked on it four times, the article it links to is not titled that and does not mention the "sexd message claims" at all. It links to a generic interview about the beginning of his career, titled "Jason Manford: interview" which is dated "Thu Jan 15 2009," nearly two years before he left The One Show. It should be deleted.CleverTitania (talk) 07:24, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Section blanking - Personal Life

[edit]

The Personal Life section was deleted entirely in the last 24 hours with the explanation "better sources needed". The IP seems to be associated with a Manchester based ISP. Perhaps, it would be better to explain which sources are not good, rather than kill the whole section. Or edit the offending pieces. The sources given for most of the claims in that section are UK Newspapers. But maybe this is an opportunity to add more. 60.240.207.146 (talk) 07:36, 24 March 2018 (UTC) The daily mail can not be used. Controversy

[edit]

I'm surprised there is no real discussion of the stuff in the newspapers about him which led to him stepping down from the One Show. Has it been deliberately buried? 2.122.133.255 (talk) 20:37, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If information has been missed then it's more likely to be the fact the Wikipedia is not complete and it's voluntary. If you think there is information that should be added then you're free to add it with a reliable source. It's mentioned vaguely in the television section so if there's any other information then it could be added there. Sections which only focus on controversies are discouraged as per WP:CSECTION.
