This page should not be speedily deleted because... (I edited this article only to follow the format of other artists such as David Copperfield on wiki. The creation of Jason Latimer's work in both the public's view on his television appearances in the UK on the BBC as well as his support of the scientific community seems to justify the notability required for Wikipedia. The demo video alone of this effect has had a viewing audience of +1.2 million on one website alone. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-XoN1Ts6Wg I could have gone on to site more pages such as the homepage appearance digg.com etc...but I felt acknowledging his work was enough. On wiki there already there is a description that his first appearance, he had a viewing audience of his Laser Fiction effect of +5.2 million on the The Magicians (TV series) Episode 1 not including his appearances on Ellen for the same effect or his work in the scientific community at the Origins Conference at ASU other tech conventions worldwide i.e. Kshitij 2008 of the Indian Institute of Technology had him in India to speak and perform because of this design. I think this flag on this article as not a notable creation is a mistake. ) --JeffA87 (talk) 23:03, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Neither the fact he preformed the illusion at a scientific seminar, nor the fact that it appeared on his TV show, is really much evidence of signficance. It's sufficient to avoid speedy, but not merger of the relevant information, nor is it likely to protect it from an AfD. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 02:32, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
