Is there something to this, or is this just constant vandalism? I don't really know much about the subject, so I can't tell for sure, but something doesn't seem right... Cubzrule (talk) 05:36, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This page is not unambiguously promotional, because Jason Chatfield is a high profile cartoonist. His work is recognised both in Australia and internationally. He is a winner of numerous Australian cartoon awards. There are sections of the article which can be read as promotional but that is no reason to delete the entire article. Chatfield or representatives of Chatfield may be editing this page in light of a recent controversy without disclosure of conflict of interest, omitting details to frame an act of undenied plagiarism in a more friendly light.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Arionwillis (talk • contribs)
This is about the alleged plagiarism. I have removed it per WP:BLP which says that "contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced should be removed immediately and without discussion". The incident was only sourced to Mitch Clem's Instagram, which is not a reliable source, see WP:RS. The incident is also WP:UNDUE if it isn't covered by reliable published sources, which is another reason to remove it. Sjö (talk) 16:05, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
