Page/Article Redesign

I thought that the previous verison of this article probably should have been tagged as a stub, even though it wasn't. It provided little information, and I felt it wasn't very helpful. I redesigned it and put in all the information I could find.

My sources were the actual Rail Pass itself, information from the Rail Pass website, as well as information from JTB Corp.

Corrected some errors

I corrected some errors in formatting and I moved the bit about the World Cup down to other information. It does not concern the normal procedures of how the Rail Pass is aquired and used, so it doesn't belong in the main article. I moved it down to a more appropriate place under Otherr Information. Conditions of use

That section appears quite redundant - it's not Wikipedia's job to repeat the fine print of the past. Most relevant information is already found elsewhere in the article, and the rest is too obscure for an encyclopaedia. I will probably integrate the useful content and delete the rest in the near future. Averell (talk) 07:34, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

October 2023 Update

I have put the new prices and pruned much of the very detailed explanation for the Exchange Orders. Passes can now be bought online, and the Exchange Order is to be phased out by the of 2025.

Also, much of that information was more of a "How-To" really, which is not what Wikipedia is for (see WP:NOTHOWTO).

I also removed some explanations about changes that happened in the past, so that the article reflects the current situation.

It may actually be nice to have a "History" section, to see how the pass has changed in the past. But for now I leave this to another author.
