The result of the move request was: Move to Japan Airlines Flight 472. No objections and it clearly seems to be the main meaning. Salix (talk): 20:04, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
Japan Airlines Flight 472 (1977) → Japan Airlines Flight 472 — This page was boldly moved to the current title but i think it should be moved back, over the disambiguation page. This hijacking seems to be the main meaning. (The user that did the move seems to agree.) IMO a hat note is enough for the 1972 runway excursion, the other Japan Airlines Flight 472. ospalh (talk) 10:27, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

156 people or 156 passengers?
[edit]In the article text it says "156 people aboard" in the infobox it says "14 crew, 156 passengers" (and than i added those two numbers to get the 170). Which one is correct? (I tried to glean it from the Japanese article but couldn't. Perhaps somebody who can actually read the language could help.)--ospalh (talk) 19:13, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
- I tried harder and found "高橋重男機長以下乗員14名、乗客137名、犯人グループ5名" which seems to mean someting like (asking Google translate) "14 crew, 137 (non-hijacking) passengers and 5 criminals", which of course adds up to 156.--ospalh (talk) 19:29, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
