New Year's Day 2029 and 2048
[edit]This is the first total lunar eclipse for nearly all of Earth's timezones on New Year's Day, though there will be a total lunar eclipse for New Year's Day 2029 in Australia and Japan while it's New Year's Eve 2028 for the rest of Earth.
