- "The strongest quadrant of the storm moved over Delaware, where strong easterly winds produced significant tidal flooding, damaging 500 houses." - I would strongly suggest re-wording that sentence, especially the ending. If the easterly winds damaged 500 houses, then change it to "The strongest quadrant of the storm moved over Delaware, where strong easterly winds produced significant tidal flooding and damaged 500 houses." Or if it was the resultant tidal flooding that damaged the houses, re-word it to "The strongest quadrant of the storm moved over Delaware, where strong easterly winds produced significant tidal flooding, which damaged 500 houses."
- Changed it around some, since just the storm in general damaged 500 houses. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- "while moving across the Delmarva Peninsula, and it emerged into the Chesapeake Bay." - Remove the comma after "Peninsula"
- K. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- Anymore impact in states like Virginia, where winds reached 89 mph?
- Not really. Remember, such strong winds were reported on the state's eastern shore, which is very sparsely populated. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- "Low-lying sections of Ocean City were flooded,[7] including along coastal hotels." - Something doesn't look right here, but I can't really put my finger on it, but I am guessing that the word "along" should be removed.
- Better? --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- "About 80 people evacuated to emergency shelters in South Jersey,[7] and 95 residents of a nursing home" - Remove the comma after "Jersey"
- Disagreed, I think a comma works. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- Any disaster declarations following this storm?
- Yep, already mentioned (in Delaware). --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- On Reference #3, you have one of the author's name as Buchholz, Margaret, which should instead be Margaret Buchholz, in order to stay consistent with the other references.
- Oops. That's what I get for copying refs from other articles. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- What is the publication date for Reference #8?
- Added. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:14, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hang on, I have one more thing: "In Lewes, Delaware, the highest tide was 7.40 ft (2.26 m)," - why did you include the name of the state after the city? It had already been established that you are talking about Delaware, so there is no need for it.--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- Removed. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:07, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ok then, I will now pass this article--12george1 (talk) 22:15, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
