Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Janni Spies. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. reddogsix (talk) 04:00, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
Why don't You use the article's talk-page ? A6 states "A7. No indication of importance (individuals, animals, organizations, web content, events)" - Would You really state that Janni Spies lackes indication of importance ? Today she lives differently, but article focuses on the 1983-1994 period, when she ACTUALLY become famous like a princess in Denmark - but also in Norway, Sweden, Germany and Finland. Then, after Simon's death, she was chairman of the board at the largest travelling agency in Scandinavia & parts of north Germany, Spies Rejser - as well as the same of Conair of Scandinavia. But apart from that she was portraited as a pop-queen or princess in tabloids an in the weekly press of many countries. Either You are too young to remember - or lives very far away from Denmark. But Wikipedia is GLOBAL !!! If only You knew how badly the A6 paragraph goes together with Janni Spies. Among the pictures (from Danish tabloids) there ought to be sufficient material to understand that she was like a second Danish Queeen (almost). I have no litterature on her, but I found the links very easilly. Finally - why disuss here and not at the talk-page. I move the lot there. Comment - As an experienced editor, you should know that correct way to respond to a AfD does not include removing it from the article - that is why I added the tag to your talk page. As far as the article is concerned, a few pictures, an article, and a timeline are hardly adequate references to support notability. reddogsix (talk) 14:32, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Do you really think her wedding photos look "average" ? And who has 3000 guests at their wedding ? Tell me ONE other such wedding through history, including Royalties, wher 3000 invited guests participated.
By the way - In which country do You live and how old are You ? I'm not even Danish my self but and 50 years old, which is enough to rembeber that mastodontic wedding. Especially the wedding was news all over Europe. And she's not a notability but (at the time of her wedding) a celebrity ! If You patrol pages related to contries You are not acquainted with, I think You shold think twice. And use Google translator, Danish is an allowed language for sources. Not notable...
