Adjacent to the railway station is a small locality called Shastri Nagar. Shastri Nagar has just one main street. At the end of the street is an elderly persons home managed by the Missionaries of Saint Francis De Sales. (Pathomasjtj (talk) 14:02, 22 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]
