Help with Neutral POV warning
[edit]Hello, I am Jan Norberger and am providing the bulk of the content on this page. Wherever possible I have direct citations but it has recently raised a warning about neutral POV. Is there anything specific I need to do to remove this warning? I do not believe I am embelishing fact, expressing opinion or the like. JanNorberger (talk) 06:50, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Jan - please see Wikipedia:Autobiography, which explains the issue better than I personally could. The Drover's Wife (talk) 11:16, 7 April 2016 (UTC)

Clean up
[edit]I have come to edit this page as it was reported to have a COI and required a clean up, particularly with regard to neutrality. I'm posting here a few continuing challenges, in case anyone wants to pick up where I have left off.
- A fair amount of the information is drawn from Norberger's maiden speech & government profile. This obviously is not the best quality source, however, it is fairly non-controversial information (date of birth, education, etc), and there are no alternative quality sources that I could find.
- I cut out some stuff that I couldn't verify and/or that seemed more like what you'd find in a resume rather than an encyclopedia, however will put it here in case someone finds a way to make use of it:
- At the RAAF was given Officer Commanding Commendation for outstanding professionalism.
- During his time in the RAAF, he attained Microsoft Certified Professional classifications as a Solutions Developer (MCSD) and Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- Norberger left the RAAF in 2001, continuing to work in the IT industry until taking up the position of General Manager at Timor Aviation Services and DHL East Timor in Dili, East Timor
- He was a serving member of the Economics and Industry Standing Committee having undertaken inquiries into Floating LNG, Freight Rail and FLNG Safety
