[edit]Brigadier General Jamil Uddin Ahmad was the only army officer who lost his life while trying to protect the then president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of Nation of Bangladesh on 15 August 1975. Perhaps, his sacrifice may not hold any importance on the Wikipedia scale, but in Bangladesh, he is known as a hero who was awarded 'Bir Uttom' posthumously (in April 2010), with the second highest award for individual gallantry in Bangladesh after the Bir Sreshtho, and translates to "Better among Braves".
For further information, please look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bir_Uttom, where you will also find Jamil Uddin Ahmad's name mentioned, which in my opinion, requires further elaboration than just a name in red.
If you still feel this article should be proposed for deletion, I have no further objection.
