– Huge failure of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Only gets 18% amount of views, and average is just over 200 a day, which is extremely low considering there are near 80 James Wilson on the site. Although this article was important a long ago, so was James Wilson (businessman) and James Wilson (Secretary of Agriculture), who are both viewed close to as much as our current WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. And on Google Search, our current WP:PRIMARYTOPIC is almost nowhere to be seen, just James Wilson (House) and James Wilson (English footballer). --Quiz shows 10:21, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support there are so many people by this name that even though this one might have a claim of significance there are too many for a primary topic. Views [[1]] show that James Wilson (House) gets 11,594, James Wilson (English footballer) gets 6,539 and James Wilson (darts player) gets 4,041 compared to only 3,858 for this one. - Support per nomination and Crouch, Swale. Far too many uses of this extremely common name to justify specifying a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 08:13, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support removing "(disambiguation)", as per above there is no primary topic. However, oppose move to James Wilson (justice). I think either "jurist" or "judge" be would a better descriptor, but as he appears to be significant not only for his judicial career I would suggest James Wilson (Founding Father) as a better title. - Additional possibilities suggest themselves via such existing main title headers as David Davis (Supreme Court justice), Stanley Matthews (Supreme Court justice), John Montgomery (Continental Congress), Richard Peters (Continental Congress) or Richard Stockton (Continental Congressman). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 08:48, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support, no clear primary topic. I like "Founding Father" as a disambiguator. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:20, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 18:36, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
