Venn and the Manchester Examiner
[edit]We cite Venn for His father was the first editor of the Manchester Examiner
. It is not correct, perhaps because he contracted the name of the newspaper. Paulton was involved with the Manchester Times and that paper was absorbed into the Manchester Examiner around 1848, at which point he became editor of what was then styled as the Manchester Examiner and Times. There are numerous sources for this, including those in the linked articles, but I am unsure how best to treat it in this article. - Sitush (talk) 14:03, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
