Clean-up

I tagged this page for clean-up. The article has poor grammar, and comes across as somewhat slanted. Please see Wikipedia:NPOV for more about the neutral point of view policy in place for Wikipedia. Irixman 00:20, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

It isn't necessarily biased. The article highlights the school's notable extracurricular programs and why they are notable. As for the grammar, someone definitely needs to edit the Band portion of this article. Biggie.P 03:13, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
I agree in part. Some of the language throughout the article comes across as gushing. For example, in reference to the forensics program "...propelling the forensics program to becoming the most famous part of James Logan High School," "The team is also known for harboring some of the brightest students," etc. This is also present in the band article.
Grammatically, the forensics program portion seems to be much more polished. The band portion needs a significant amount of attention.
As a side project, the Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools may be a good addition to this article. Article editor's call.

Unnecessary bias removed from Forensics and Band sections.
Band section has been corrected grammatically.

Very nice changes. The one other thing I question is if the names of the drill writer and music composer in the band section are important. Again, your call, like the Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools.
Thanks for the edits!

I've added this article to WikiProject schools in order to get some additional ideas on how to improve the article.--Brianvdb 05:42, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Vandals

Someone needs to tag 67.182.163.50 for vandalism. Biggie.P 03:13, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

That's stupid, you can do it yourself. Just go to 67.182.163.50's talk page and post your vandalism concern. JJ.Johnson 07:17, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

Fake Alumni

Eddie House and Nate Robinson did not go to James Logan High School. House went to Hayward High School in Hayward, CA and Robinson went to Rainer High School in Seattle, WA. Stop posting fake information. -- Big.P 08:42, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

I have no idea who put House and Robinson into this section; I just make sure this section is in alpha order.

Both Eddie House and Nate Robinson attended James Logan High School, Eddie House transfered to Hayward High School after being cut from the basketball team his freshman year, Nate Robinson played one year of high school football before transfering to Rainer High School. —This unsigned comment was added by 136.152.160.199 (talkcontribs) .
That does not make them graduates of JLHS. Also, please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~). - Sstrieu 00:04, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Alumni simply means "former student." One does not have to be a graduate to be an alumnus/alumna. --Brianvdb 08:37, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

We Need a Photo

I'm trying to get a photo of the school or school logo into this article, but the James Logan High School website (www.jlhs.nhusd.k12.ca.us) isn't working for me. If anybody can help out, it'd be greatly appreciated. --βig 01:49, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

Maybe I can take a picture next week. - Sstrieu 03:06, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
