Must have misread the article, and missed the notability-Empyrycal 06:09, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. I believe the notability is established and do not contest that. However, I would like to see some other editors provide sources for this article. Ronbo76 06:14, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The problem was that the article didn't actually state, in very clear terms, that he was notable - hence my little error of judgement about the article. Anyway, it does need some sources now-Empyrycal 09:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

His younger brother, Joseph Lawton Collins also served in the U.S. Army, finally achieving the rank of full General when he served as US Army Chief of Staff 1949–53.

Collins did not live long enough to see his youngest son, Michael Collins, serve as the pilot of the Apollo 11 Command Module during the historic first landing on the Moon.
