"He's beautiful"
[edit]What idiot wrong that at the end of his bio? It has nothing to do with his acting career or personal life & cheapens the entire source. EDITED & DELETED. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Carbine222 (talk • contribs) 07:53, 22 January 2007 (UTC).
Clean-up (Picture?)
[edit]I'm taking this as a clean up project for myself. What I really need somebody to do is place some pictures on this artcle. I'm not good at uploading picture because they soon get deleted for copyright reasons. Can somebody do this?
I added the picture from the Nathan Scott article. It was already uploaded to Wikipedia, so I just added it to his page. CollisionCourse (talk) 09:28, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
Sarah relationship
[edit]While the major personal relationships are important, in varying degrees, to any subject's biography and overall legacy - I am not sure what the denials of a relationship add to this article. In the case of a politician, where fidelity may have an impact on electability, I can certainly see where hiding some kind of extra-marital relationship would be an important piece of understanding how that subject lost an election, etc. But James Lafferty is an actor, and an unmarried one at that. Being in an high-profile relationship with another single person may certainly rate a line of inclusion in his biography - but what do the previous denials by his representatives have to do with his work, legacy, or reputation? Wikipedia being an encyclopedia, not a gossip magazine, I argue against inclusion. EBY (talk) 20:53, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- As I stated on EBY3221's talk page, I'm not so sure that we should not include the denial from reps about his dating Sophia Bush and the fact that they were spotted together, which seemed to be as an official couple, before his romance with Bush was confirmed. I mean, all that stuff leads up to the confirmation quite nicely. Simply stating that Chad Michael Murray confirmed a romance between them seems a little off; it is like why did it need to be confirmed?
- Besides that, this exact same information about Lafferty's romance with Bush that EBY3221 removed from Lafferty's article is in Bush's article. It should definitely be discussed there as well first before being removed from there. It is not about Wikipedia being an encyclopedia, not a gossip magazine. It is about there not really being a point for removing this information. It was/is not gossipy in essence, in my view. If it were/is, then it is only by a bit, which is the tone of other valid information in other Personal life sections here as well. If it were significantly gossipy or long in length about denials, then I would see the point. Furthermore, these two did not deny the romance directly, which I suppose could give more reason for no inclusion. But I point out that only one denial was included, and that is from a rep. The other inclusion right before the confirmation is that the two were seen together at an aiport.
- This talk page does not get much traffic, so I would rather this had been solved between EBY3221 and I. But I am willing to wait for a bit to see if any other editors say anything about this matter.
- Those are mainly my thoughts about this. Flyer22 (talk) 21:44, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- For others to see later, just in case someone else does comment on this, this is how that part about Lafferty's relationship with Bush was in full:
- In December 2007, it was reported by Rush & Molloy in the New York Daily News that Lafferty had "now hooked up with" co-star Sophia Bush; the report mentioned that a rep for the actress denied there was any romance.[3][4] In May 2008, photos surfaced of Lafferty and Bush at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) together, which fueled rumors of a possible romance.[5] On October 27, 2008, Chad Michael Murray, Bush's ex-husband and fellow One Tree Hill co-star, confirmed the romance between Bush and Lafferty. "[Sophia and I] are both professional and mature enough to get through it," he said. "And now it's just easy. We're just friends. And she's got James, and James and I are friends."[6][7]
