Born in 1904?

I found a website which claims he was born in 1904, although it might be a simple typo - https://www.hattersheritage.co.uk/james-imrie?page=2. I've looked on Newspapers.com but no article seems to mention his age.

However, I looked on Ancestry and found a record in the 1939 England and Wales Register that I'm fairly sure is him. if so, it confirms he was born in 1904 -
