James Harrison had an article about him published in the Brooklyn Rail in April 2006. http://www.brooklynrail.org/2006/04/artseen/mind-mandala-the-art-of-james-harrison.

There was a gallery showing of his work from January - March 1992 at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk Virginia. There was an exhibit catalog printed http://books.google.com/books/about/James_Harrison.html?id=3M_OnQEACAAJ.
