James' age

[edit]

It is clearly stated in the programme that James was 30 in 1912 - we know he was born in June ("Magic Casements"); therefore by reason of simple maths his birthday must have been JUNE 1882. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.64.117.166 (talk) 16:17, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe there are many inconsistencies in the books and related cannon books.--UpDown (talk) 20:15, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Christian Names - discrepancy

[edit]

The main heading introduces him as James Hugo Bellamy but elsewhere is addressed as James Rupert Bellamy. Which is correct? Cloptonson (talk) 20:35, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's the latter. Episode three calls him "James Rupert Bellamy" but the note sent by the army in Series 4 Episode 10 has him as "James H Bellamy". H, presumably, stands for Hugo, after his mother's brother. 86.164.165.15 (talk) 22:29, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
