I am sorry to say that i have found a error in this entry. The Captain of the James B. Colgate could not have found refuge from the carferry Marquette and Bessemer No.2. This article states that the Colgate sank in 1916, the Marquette and Bessemer No.2 sank in 1909. To date this carferry has not been found.
