Siblings under different article
[edit]Since there is an article Healy family, in which all the siblings are discussed at length, and some have their own articles in addition, it seems inappropriate to have so much discussion of them here. They should be discussed in their relation to James, if at all. I plan to delete their material or reduce it markedly, per above comments.Parkwells (talk) 23:22, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Not African-American
[edit]Healy did not self-identify as being Afircan-American and he should not be put in African-American categories. We categorize by ethnicity, not by race, which means if someone did not publicly identify as having a given ethnicity they did not have it.John Pack Lambert (talk) 20:56, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- At the time it would often have been prejudicious to self-identify as African American if going for a high office. I would suggest that you find a delicate method of wording that incorporates his background with the article here, without needing for him to self-identify as partly African-American, rather than try to delete the whole category. - John continues to damage this page now 8 years later and has also attempted to vandalize the Joseph Oliver Bowers along the same lines. He is deleting categories as well. natemup (talk) 23:06, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
