[edit]I would like to ask if we can remove the COI tag for this article. I have worked to clean up the entry following the WP:BIO and WP:COI guidelines, citing sources and references along the way. Objections? Deuces are wild! (talk) 07:27, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
I would request that this article not be deleted. Mr Runde is an author of significant research and material about the rail and transportation industries, as evidenced by the book referenced below. It seems to fit the notability guidelines as published by Wikipedia. Barney1014 17:37, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

The biography about James A. Runde is a bio authored by Mr. Runde and provided to various organizations of which he is a member. It is not copyrighted by Marquette, but in fact by Mr. Runde, and he has given permission to various pages to use his bio. Rundej 19:51, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
This bio is already in the public domain. It has been used in various news releases about Mr. Runde, and was authored by Mr. Runde. Rundej 20:29, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Nevermind. We have re-authored Mr. Runde's entry and posted it on a temp page. Please post the contents of the temp page to the James A. Runde page. Thank you for your help. Rundej 20:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

I would like to ask if we can eliminate the URL tag for this article. I have edited and cleaned up the entry following the wp: bio guidelines, citing more up-to-date sources or removing the dead links. Pls. advise if there are any objections? Wongvan (talk) 13:56, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
