"Ties to Muslim Brotherhood"
[edit]I find this section, as currently written, extremely problematic. It is a violation of WP:BLP.
We first have this sentence: "In 1992, Badawi’s name was listed in a Muslim Brotherhood directory. [1] He has publicly declared his support for "combative jihad" and has referred to members of Hamas as “marytrs.”[2][3]." Not a single one of these citations is a high-quality source. Instead, the references are to partisan and agenda-driven organizations with no reputation for accuracy or fact-checking, with one of the citations being a primary source and the second citation being just to the homepage of one of these partisan organizations.
We then have: "In a 2004 interview, Dr. Badawi stated, 'I have read many books, but Hasan Al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, has been the most inspirational.'[4]" Essentially, a quote from a lengthy interview to buttress an argument that this article has not yet presented from a reliable secondary source. WP:NOR comes to mind. 2601:243:903:3F5B:254F:CE78:74E5:1209 (talk) 15:48, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
